nana is a series of four sensory objects exploring intimacy, touch, and pleasure. The project takes as its starting point a rarely discussed topic: the sexual activity of women over sixty. The objects that emerged, however, are gender and age fluid — an outcome that reflects how universal the desire for tender, tactile experience is. Three pieces are cast in food-grade silicone, designed for exploration and discovery. The fourth is a weighted pillow in a cashmere-cotton blend filled with grape seeds — a quieter, more grounding presence within the series.
